Optimum Route Finder- Flight Planning Tool

INTRODUCTION

Determining the best route for a flight involves considering various factors, such as distance, weather conditions and airspace restrictions. Manually selecting the optimum route can be time-consuming, complex, and prone to errors. Insta Charter's route finder tool helps in solving these problems.

This is how the route will be shown in the app after clicking on 'Fetch Route'. 

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This feature is for Air Charter Operators as well as Air Charter Brokers. 

FEATURE- ROUTE FINDER TOOL

Operators and brokers can input their trip details, and the tool calculates the flight time. Then, select "Fetch Route," and it instantly provides the best and shortest flight route, considering weather-impacted flight time and block fuel. 

Users can avoid specific countries or Flight Information Regions (FIRs), if necessary and the tool will generate the route as per the instructions.

BENEFITS

The solution provides accurate routes which can also be copied. 

SCENARIO

If you wish to travel from Guwahati to Delhi while bypassing the route through Nepal, you can simply designate Nepal under "Avoid Country." The route finder will then generate an alternative route, different from the default route when no country is specified for avoidance. Please note that this alternative route may result in either an increase or decrease in the flight time, depending on various factors.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Users must have a basic or premium subscription of Instacharter app.

2. Mandatory details must be filled such as from, to, date and pax.

3. Flight time option must be clicked for Basic flight time.

4. Aircraft Type should be selected.

5. The Fetch Route button must be clicked to find the optimum route and flight time.

LIMITATIONS

1. If any of the airports in the trip does not has an ICAO code, the fetch route feature does not work for that trip.

   Mandatory details are required to reach to flight time.
   
2. After selecting the aircraft we get the basic flight time and on clicking fetch routes we get the accurate flight time.
   
3. Fetch route is not available for helicopters.
